MEASURE RR - ON THE NOVEMBER 3rd BALLOT - WILL:

Update school and learning technology
Complete basic and necessary school site upgrades
Reduce/remove asbestos, lead paint, and water quality hazards in schools
Modernize science, technology, engineering, and math classrooms and labs for 21st century learning
Improve accessibility, earthquake safety and school security
Upgrade schools to COVID-19 cleanliness and distancing standards for student, faculty and staff safety

Measure RR will repair and renovate our aging LA public school facilities – WITHOUT increasing your tax rate.

Your YES VOTE ensures that more students get access to updated, modernized schools and learning technology. RR also provides new and necessary COVID-19 upgrades to keep students, teachers and staff safe at school. Every single dollar of voter-approved RR funding is earmarked for upgrades that support a better educational experience for students and teachers, whether in the classroom or through distance learning. ALL this with an added benefit: Measure RR will create thousands of jobs, providing a needed boost to our local LA economy.

Taxpayer Safeguards

  • Measure RR is subject to strict independent oversight and accountability requirements, including annual independent financial and performance audits.  No RR funds are allowed for administrator or employee salaries and school operating expenses.
  • By law, ALL Measure RR funds stay local for LA schools.  This funding is for school facilities and technology only. The State can't take it away or use it for other purposes. 
  • Best of all, your tax rate WON’T increase.  Measure RR simply extends WITHOUT increasing the existing tax rate already approved by LA voters for LAUSD school bonds.
